Ivana Chubbuck is one of the most sought after acting coaches in the world, whose technique paved the way to stardom for actors such as Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Jim Carrey, Sylvester Stallone, Halle Berry, Charlize Theron and many others. She created the Chubbuck Technique and is the author of the book “The Power or the Actor”, which explains in 12 steps how to use your own experiences to connect with the character. With Ivana’s blessing, after being certified in Hollywood and coaching dozens of actors in Japan, Maya Dukic, certified acting coach, has brought this technique to Portugal.

Classes for adults will be held on Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm. We will be doing both monologues and partner scenes. You will get a script to memorize and rehearse before the class. Every week we will be going through the steps of the Chubbuck technique. We will also be doing exercises to open up emotionally and get into the character, such as emotional diaries with different prompts, chemistry exercise, and others. For those of you who attend classes and who are interested, there will be a possibility to work with Ivana Chubbuck in person, either in a bootcamp in LA or at a workshop in Portugal. Please note that Ivana Chubbuck doesn't work with beginners and you will only be considered if you prepare for classes.
